Appearance

Inheriting hazel optics from his mother and light brown locks from his father. Colin is at an average male height with fair skin tone and a fairly muscular and toned body. He is usually seen always wearing a beanie or hat to conceal his messy locks and usually wears graphic tee's, hoodies, joggers and skinny jeans, along with sneakers.

Personality

Colin is an very isolated character. Sometimes he have his moments and his temper flares quite easily and he won't hesitate to be rude to anyone who bothers him. He's blunt most of the time and doesn't have a care in the world. If he's called an ‘ass’ he’d wholeheartedly agree with the other. He's a very difficult and frustrating person to get along with. He’s top ranked in his classes, his arrogance doesn't really help either. Colin is very cocky and his pride--is well big. He’s always seen with a smirk plastered on his sculptured face. He loves challenges. He enjoys teasing others as he watch them get flustered.

There's a wall built upon his whole “jackass” interior due to him not being able to trust easily from his harsh upbringing that concealed the truth but eventually he sometimes does let his guard down. Colin also have his moments when he can empathize with others or be semi-compassionate, even though it's sometimes hard to distinguish. If he does let someone in, they can't take advantage of his trust.

Who knew that he would find himself lip-locking with sweet Lucia?

What he thought would turn out like a regular night out was completely wrong. Under the influence of opioids, Colin found himself flowing through the throngs of warm bodies until a familiar woman was suddenly dancing on him. Short chestnut hair. Heterochromic optics. Hour glass frame.

It was Lucia.

Seeing the woman in that setting was surprising. He couldn’t even recall the last time he had seen her or their last conversation.

Words were exchanged and the two hadn’t kept their hands nor lips off of each other. Colin already found himself addicted to the vixen and he blamed the drugs. Yet, he chose not to take sleep with her. The only thing he could offer was to call her later on.

After that, the two began hanging out and seeing each-other quite frequently. During this time, Colin explored and tried to see if he received the same connection on that night—wondering if it had only been a one time thing. It wasn’t until Lucia confessed her feelings towards him that he realized he felt the same as well. He didn’t hesitate in letting her know that he wasn’t the committed type or fitted into ‘boyfriend material’.

“Then. . .Can we stay like this? No label. For now.”

And they did. Three months to be exact. The two continued to see each-other and ‘hang out’. They held hands, kissed, and made out. They pretty much did all of those things in private or public. He was aware that her feelings were much deeper than his own but wasn’t sure. The two went at their own pace though, not really concerning over tedious things. Colin found himself going slow with the woman because he was used to skipping straight to fucking. Of course, the tension between them eventually won. For once, he didn’t feel any numbness after. Instead, he was overpowered by a strong sense of euphoria.

The two are discovering things about one another and the deep connection they have. They are now happily in a serious relationship.

RISA HAGIWARA

The person who gave birth to Korin Oshiro. Despite the fact that Risa no longer had custody of Colin, they still managed to see each other. Sometimes during the holidays, Colin and his grandmother would return to his birthplace or vice versa. As he aged, their bond never wavered. However, he tends to keep a few things from his mother and also seems to be pretty protective of her as well.

The husband to Risa Hagiwara. It took Colin a year to warm up to the man, especially since he couldn’t truly witness how he treats his mother oversees. Overall, he’s a kind and patient man. Colin wished that he had appeared earlier in his life. He has a 4 year old daughter named Juoko.

JUOKO HAGIWARA

Relationship: step-sister.

Juoko is the daughter of Kei Hagiwara. Unfortunately, her mother passed away from birth. Despite the fact that Colin and Juoko aren’t bloodrelated, he treats her as if she was his own birth sister. During the times he’d visit, he would never complain to babysit if his mother or Kei wanted to go on a date. Kei claims that Colin spoils her too much. His nickname for her is ‘JoJo’.

History

Growing up in a grunge looking neighborhood, things were always tough for his mother and himself. Being born into the world from a teen parent, Colin mother always used to came home late at night, always exhausted with various bruises along her body. He used to help his mother to the bedroom and tended to her the best he could.

Colin was originally born in Sydney, Australia. He lived there until the age of four until his mother and him traveled to Tokyo, Japan. He hardly remembers his birthplace, considering his young age.

At the age of eight, Colin was always buried into his studies, his mom always told him, “Don't worry baby. The more you know, the faster we’ll get out of this dump. Make mommy proud.” And he did, he always came back successfully with good grades. Despite his mother being his encouragement, she hardly acknowledge what he achieved so far. One day, Colin found out that his mother lied to him. One evening, his grandmother visited. The three of them had dinner together and moments later, his mother told him to go to his room and he obliged. Seconds later, he heard them yelling.

Colin discreetly watched from a corner and found out: his mother was a sex worker, he has an elder sibling, and his father who left them is in jail. Secrets that were untold that evening spilled, it was a lot for Colin’s eight year old mind to handle with so many questions. A month later, he was in court with his mother and his grandmother took full custody of him. They once again moved and that was the last he saw his mother. From there on, his grandmother taught a begrudging him how to cook and bake to distract his mind that was blossoming with so many thoughts.

At the age of sixteen, his grandmother gave him a box. It held bunch of letters all from his father, merely checking on him, the last letter was when he was fourteen. Colin hurriedly replied back to the last letter he read but didn't get one back. His grandmother watched sadly and after he sent it, she told him about why his father was in jail. Colin felt disgusted at him after.

During that period, Colin’s behavior in school changed drastically. He started smoking and getting detention, even picking fights. No one hardly tried to straighten him up, his elder sibling who tried E-mailing him hardly did anything and his grandmother was already sick.

TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL ABUSE/RAPE MENTIONED

Some teachers threatened to retain him but his grades were never out of line, except for one. Colin cares about his education more than anything, even if nothing did encourage him. He approached the class, the teacher even said his work always came out well along with others. The teacher only smirked curtly upon his entrance, explaining why. “Your attitude just peeks my interest.” She said, a purr in her tone and placed her hand upon his thigh. He immediately recognize her act of seduction. She wanted his attention.

His gaze flickered down to her hand, watching it itch further. In that moment, he was really questioning how he got here. Colin felt his eyes sting, but no tear fell. The male inhaled a deep breath and shut his eyes tightly before his hazel gaze firmly settled onto the teacher.

A part of him kept telling him to leave right away. He wanted to. He really did.

As she hastily unbuckled his pants, he looked upward at the ceiling. Praying—no, hoping someone would walk in. Maybe If he walked away now, his grades wouldn’t suffer?

“Get ready.” She purred, pushing him back onto the chair. Seeing the look on her face, he just knew that wouldn’t happen. He’d likely face repercussions for anything.

If anyone knew he fucked the teacher, what will that do? Earn him a clap on the back?

So, he just told himself that there was nothing left to lose, no satisfaction and he just *needed to bring his grade up.

He felt sick to his stomach. He didn’t want this.

It’s just for his grade, right. . ?

Unfortunately, this continued on for several weeks and Colin harbored a hate within himself.

Two months after he had turned eighteen, his grandmother passed from cancer. He wept in her hospital room that night when she passed right in front of his eyes. He takes the partial blame, he thought he should've been more considerate and noticed the signs. He regretted so many things like not having enough time to bake her his famous blueberry pies she liked.

Presently, Colin feels more ashamed on how he dealt with some situations. Although, some things good did come out of it. He managed to successfully be accepted into college with a scholarship and currently in medical school.

  • He prefers to be referred as Colin. That’s how he would introduce himself. Only family members and close/old friends are allowed to call him by his real name.

  • He’s trying to stop smoking cigarettes and is getting in the habit of smoking blunts. Occasionally, he’ll get high with other methods.

  • His hobbies includes reading, baking or cooking and working out.
